Feature and Follow Friday #7

Since I failed to get it up last week as well, I'll post both September 6th and September 13th activities here this week.

I chose to only do one of my bookshelves for sake of time.

This Week's Question:

It is up to you to do a Kickstarter campaign for your favorite book!!! Who are you casting for the main characters?

 My Kickstarter would definitely be on the book The Looking Glass Wars by Frank Beddor. This trilogy of books features a cast of Characters from the classic tales Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll. Beddor's novels suggest that Wonderland is a parallel world where creativity and imagination reign, but be careful what side of imagination you use. White Imagination brings happiness and good-natured ideas about, while Black Imagination summons ruin and despair.

Characters:

• Alyss Heart (Alice Liddell) - The Crowned Princess of Wonderland's Queendom, Alyss is forced to flee through the Pool of Tears and finds herself lost and alone in the heart of Victorian London. Her adventures unfold as she meets Reverend Dodgeson, the man who would write her stories down but in the wrong way. 
  
  Young Alyss - Emma Rayne Lyle
  Adult Alyss - MichelleTrachtenberg
• Hatter Madigan - The Queen's Bodyguard and an influential leader of the Wonderland's elite security force, The Millinery. He is charged with the task of protecting Alyss until she's old enough to rule. They are separated during their escape through the Pool of Tears however, leaving him to search our world for the missing princess for nearly 13 years.

• Redd Heart - The main villain of the series, Redd is overcome by jealousy that her younger sister Genevieve is give the throne instead of herself. Having been exiled long before the beginning of the novel, Redd makes her appearance in the brutal ruin of Alyss's seventh birthday while staging a coop that ultimately leaves her Queen of Wonderland for 13 years.
  
  Redd Heart - Ginnifer Goodwin
•  Dodge Anders - Son of the Captain of the Guard and Alyss's childhood playmate, Dodge loses his father and the life he knew with the fall of Queen Genevieve and White Imagination. He takes the role as a fighter and influential leader in the secret rebellion that grows during Redd Heart's reign and eventually becomes Alyss's love interest.
  
  Young Dodge - Max Charles
  Adult Dodge - Jake Abel
• Bibwit Harte - The royal tutor to the Heart family, teaching them everything they have to know to be a good monarch. His name is an anagram of White Rabbit. After Alyss and Hatter disappear, he seems to work for Redd, but he secretly helps the Alyssians in their battle against Redd. When Alyss returns to Wonderland he decides to join the Alyssians openly.
  
  Bibwit Harte - Malcolm McDowell

The Cat: Redd's assassin, loosely based on the Cheshire Cat from Carroll's original books. He kills Sir Justice Anders and attempts to pursue Alyss and Hatter when they escape from Wonderland. Unable to do so, he conceals this from Redd. He ordinarily resembles a muscular, bipedal feline equipped with melée weapons, but can take the form of a kitten as a sort of Trojan horse, and possesses nine lives.
